Question 1: Why are all the backgrounds yellow for your pictures?

The ROHM timeline is color-coded so that it’s easy to distinguish between each year visually. Yellow is the color I chose for 2001. All of the 2002 posts will have a (mostly) green background.

Question 2: Why post things from 2001? *NSYNC didn’t go on hiatus until 2002.

There were already questions and rumors about *NSYNC breaking up before the group decided to take a break, and a lot of those were from 2001. Also, according to Lance’s book Out of Sync 2001 was when the idea of a hiatus was proposed to the group. Starting the timeline before the actual hiatus establishes context.

Question 3: Is it hard to find this stuff? How do you know where to look?

It starts with basic Google searches and then combing through the results. Finding source info for posts isn’t hard but it can be tedious if I have to track down old web pages through the Wayback Machine. Honestly, doing the art for each post is harder than the research component.
