Reports from Billboard, BBC Radio 1, and Yahoo! LAUNCH all positioned the reunion for fall. Lance Bass said the group was actively writing, with release plans tentatively set for late 2003 or early 2004; Jive Records was pushing for a quick turnaround, but Lance emphasized quality over speed. JC Chasez also reportedly looked forward to *NSYNC reuniting, telling Entertainment Weekly that the group was still hungry to make music.
