During a KIIS-FM interview, host JoJo Wright said he’d received a note claiming *NSYNC’s next project was paused until JC Chasez’s solo album cycle ended. JC pushed back, explaining that all members had agreed to pursue individual projects and were still discussing plans to demo songs in the spring. In a separate interview for San Diego radio, he confirmed hopes for a fourth-quarter release in 2004. Meanwhile, Chris Kirkpatrick’s mother noted that the group’s future felt uncertain, and Chris had begun shifting focus toward his own music.

1, 2, and 3- The Vox Chasez website published the transcripts of interview JC Chasez did on KIIS-FM and Channel 993, respectively.
